After it formatted, it automatically install the 3.01 version and the system is fixed. Then it gave me another error at around 65% that said the disk is corrupted and tell me to press OK to format the disk. So I had repeat step 1 and 2, but this time when I put back in the PS3 HDD I chose 'restore file system' without having to do the system update again. For some reason, the first time doing this the system froze at 67% with a new error (but i didn't write down the code).
